The much awaited music launch of J.P. Dutta's version of 'Umrao Jaan' , took place at Hayatt Regency in Bombay today at a glittering function . While the leading lady Aishwarya Rai was present on the occasion , her hero Abhishek Bachchan could not make it as he is busy shooting in Paris . However , Amitabh Bachchan was there to compensate for his son .Present on the occasion were Shabana Azmi , director Dutta , lyricist Javed Akhtar and the music director Anu Malik , who appealed to his fans to appreciate the music as ( according to him) he had composed the music of the film with his " blood , sweat and tears ."
